Washing Instructions for Tencel

Washing
- Wash inside out at 40 degrees
- Use a laundry bag to keep the fabric looking good and protect it from friction during washing
- Do not overload the machine
- Use mild liquid wool & delicate detergent
- Avoid any detergent with chlorine, enzymes, bleach, or oxygen bleach; these can damage the fabric
- Use a small amount of detergent for optimal color retention
- Choose a short wash cycle (±1 hour); it cleans just as well and is better for the fabric and the environment
- Wash separately from other materials and colors
Soft & shiny
TENCEL and Bamboo are exceptionally soft, natural, and sustainable fibers with a luxurious sheen. This original shine will diminish with use. After washing, your bedding may feel a bit stiff. During drying and when in contact with the skin, the fabric becomes soft and supple again! Using fabric softener is not necessary.
Drying
- We recommend drying your bedding naturally; this is better for the fabric and the environment
- Has the fabric become stiff after air drying? Then put it briefly on a low setting in the dryer with a soft towel; this will soften your bedding again
Ironing
- Iron at medium heat
- Avoid ironing and still prevent wrinkles? Spin at a low speed, don’t overload the machine, and hang your bedding immediately after washing to dry properly
